I really had't planned on blogging this so the pictures are not really 'blog' worthy. But since Wen blogged it I figured since I had some pictures I'd go ahead and throw something together.
I random rolled everything but the colors of the cats. I figured I needed to keep them looking a little different or I'm screwed! For some reason the game will only let you make 6 cats in CAS.
And off they go. First things first was to purchase at least a couple scratch posts, cat boxes and pet beds. Kitty had enough left to buy a couple of things for herself .. like a bed and couch.
The first week all seemed to go well. The cats all got jobs and Kitty used the money to buy a few more items. Not that she ever found time to use them of course. I decided to make 2 cats work each job area. In my first play through Animal Control actually came and took the cats, luckily the cats had different jobs and so some were not at home when that mean old Animal Control Officer showed up.
After the first fiasco I thought... this is going great. I'm sure to score better this time... yeah right...
Early on cat fights were an issue... especially involving Marshmellow Fluff. Maybe I should have given him a tougher name ... like Nestle or Charslton Chew?? And Kitty routing them on didn't help either.

I think Marshmellow Fluff needs some anger management classes... though his high jump is amazing! Are there skills earned through fighting?? LOL
Couches ... who needs 'em!
Well luckily Kitty doesn't ... she's more a worry and sleep kind of gal.
Good thing too because I swear we had to buy like 6 !

But it wasn't all dust and fur. Kitty turned out to be pretty good at keeping things tidy, not an easy feat with 6 cats.
Of course with so much cleaning Kitty barely had time for anything else...
maybe I should buy a trash can?
I think we may have to try and train some of these guys to use the toilet.
She's fallen and she can't get up! oh nevermind she's just teaching Peppermint Patty how to play dead.
Did I mention all the fires?
Don't look at me! I didn't say you couldn't have a smoke detector... or phone.
Kitty - "Hey I'm a recluse remember and everyone knows smoke detectors are secret alien technology designed to spy on us and suck our aspiration levels!"
Ok I'm installing a phone.. right after you put out the fire!!
Buddy you are lucky you went for the lamp because I refuse to buy another couch!
Over the course of play I did try to have a kitten. I had success in the first play through but not this time so after installing the phone Kitty adopted a little kitten. Juju Bee!
Life went on as usual... skilling when possible, keeping everyone from destroying the newest couch. Various promotions and demotions. Then I decided that I didn't want all these cats in the adoption pool so Crazy Cat Lady Kitty adopted a human child. Someone to uphold her legacy of cat fancy.
Of course this is just one more thing to worry about. Cheryl Litter had no interactions with the casts. The occasional social ones I often missed but no skilling or feeding them.
Cheryl barely made it to teen before Kitty kicked the catfood can. Obviously no plat grave. I figured I could just have her interact the last couple of days and get her up there since that is what she usually rolled. But of course once Cheryl moved in all she rolled was 'Cheryl gets an A+ , Cheryl is an overachiever, Cheryl goes to college, ... Cheryl Cheryl Cheryl!!!
Anyway on to the wrap up .. lame as it is, LOL
Our little white kitten... Juju Bee grew into a really nifty looking cat.
Unfortunatly he only made it to an Extra in the Showbiz career with 0 skills learned.
Was friends with Kitty.
Gumdrop did a bit better. He reached Seeing Eye Pet in the Service Career. He learned 1 skill, Shake.
Was best pet friends with Kitty.
Skittles reached the Rescue pet level of the Service Career and learned 3 skills, Rollover, Come Here, Shake
Was best pet friends with Kitty.
Mary Jane , she made it to Seeing Eye Pet in the Service Career and learned 1 skill, Shake.
She was best pet friends with Kitty.
Tootsie Roll, made it to the Contraband Sniffer level of the Security Career and learned 3 skills, Play Dead, Speak, and Stay.
Was best pet friends with Kitty.
And Peppermint patty, she made it to Stunt Double in the Showbiz Career and learned 2 skills, Roll Over and Speak.
Was best pet friends with Kitty.
Now wait you might say... aren't we missing someone? ... well yeah. Believe it or not I totally missed that Marshmellow Fluff RAN AWAY! I guess all the fighting got to be too much for the poor guy. So I don't have any stats for him, ... hmmm I should probably -20 pts on myself for not even noticing!! LOL
Anywho.. the points...
- 2 pts every time a cat pees in the house (4 times) -8 pts
- 2 pts for every piece of furniture destroyed (7 couches) -14 pts
- 2 pts for every Cat Fight (5 fights) - 10 pts
- 2 pts every time a cat is demoted (4 times) - 8 pts
- 5 pts every time a cat is fired ( 1 time) - 5 pts
- 5pts every time a cat runs away ( 1 time) - 5 pts
- 2 pts for each time your Elder pees on the floor ( 2 total) - 4 pts
- 2 pts for each time your Elder passes out on the floor ( 0 total)
- 2pts for each aspiration failure your Elder suffers ( 0 total)
-20 every time Animal Control takes away any cats (*cats at work when Animal Control comes will not be taken) Zero!
+ 5 pts for every pet that has a job ( 6 total) + 30
+ 5 pts for every command learned
+ 10 pts for every Cat that is at the Top of their Career at the time of the Elders Death + 10
+ 10 pts for every Cat that is a Best Pet Friend with your Elder at time of Elders Death + 50
+ 20 pts for each kitten born in the home N/A
+ 20 pts if your Elder is platinum when she dies HA!... no
So -54 out of the +90 and my wonderous score is an embarassing 54, LOL!!
